Red Bull Rocks! 0
Not so long ago, I wrote an entry about working on the Red Bull Big Wave Africa 2008 site.
Today, the main team that worked on the site all got these awesome gifts from Red Bull. I will try and explain, but I also attached three pictures at the bottom of this post so that you can see what it looks like.
Its basically a nice wooden box, with the coordinates of Dungeons (the place where the Big Wave Africa takes place) printed on the lid. In the box is a towel with the BWA 2008 logo printed on it! I am so stoked with this.. I’m loving it!

My Big WordPress Implementation 0
OK, so I recently got the great opportunity to build an entire site in WordPress.
WordPress is a fee open source content management system that is primarily used for blogs (This blog was also created using WordPress)
I don’t want to bore you with all the nerdy detail of exactly how I built it, but what I am going to say is that I used a couple of plug ins to make WordPress behave in the way I wanted it to and then I also wrote a couple of PHP functions to do one or two small generic tasks on the site.
All things considered, I am very proud of this one! WordPress Go!
You can see the site here:
Big Man Japan 0
An eccentric man aged about 40 lives alone in a decrepit house in Tokyo. He periodically transforms into a giant, about 30 meters tall, and defends Japan by battling similarly sized monsters that turn up and destroy buildings.

I really hope that we will have the opportunity to see this in South Africa.
It looks like it could be bad.. but bad like old Kung Fu movies.. so bad its good
My 1st jQuery Project 0
I used to be the biggest supporter of Mootools at work, simply because it is so easy to implement (or so I thought), but on a recent project I ran into some problems as a result of the inflexibility of the Mootools framework.
When the time came for me to start coding the HTML for Wireless Dimensions I decided that it was time to try jQuery, the other large JavaScript framework. What a great decision this was… Once you get used to the way jQuery works, its so much easier to implement and customize.
So for my 1st jQuery Project, I am proud to present the Wireless Dimensions website:
*No flash developers were harmed or needed to be harmed in the coding progress of this homepage!
