I used to be the biggest supporter of Mootools at work, simply because it is so easy to implement (or so I thought), but on a recent project I ran into some problems as a result of the inflexibility of the Mootools framework.
When the time came for me to start coding the HTML for Wireless Dimensions I decided that it was time to try jQuery, the other large JavaScript framework. What a great decision this was… Once you get used to the way jQuery works, its so much easier to implement and customize.
So for my 1st jQuery Project, I am proud to present the Wireless Dimensions website:

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how cool my work really is, working for Stonewall+ I get to work on some big brands and some really cool projects.
A good example of this is off course the Red Bull Big Wave Africa (which happened yesterday, the 26th of July).
I specifically asked to be part of this project because I was part of the team who worked on it last year as well. To be honest at one point I wished I wasn’t in on the “action”, but everything turned out great and I’m ready to step up to the plate again in 2009 if the opportunity presents itself.

When I found this link, I thought to myself, there is no way I’m not adding this to my blog!

What the guys and girls at kox.sk did was to take LEGO characters and recreate the old photos we all know and… yeah know. (I can’t say love, because there’s some horrific scenes amongst these)

There are so many people online selling themselves as “designers” and because the internet is such an equal playing field we get to see a lot of “the good”, but also a whole lot of “the bad” and “the ugly”…
I found Sebastien Nikolaou’s portfolio by complete accident while surfing… for some reason I’m just drawn to his work, personally, I cant stop looking at some of these designs.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do
